Leaving
Come March 20 I will be leaving for Southeast Asia. I will be gone for two months.

cat power vs scrunch power
I went to the Cat Power show, and I also went to hang out with my friend Scrunch.
Chan dedicated one of my favorite songs to "Barfin Arfin" and Sophie can say the word "Bubble." Both things almost made me cry.

floored!
Today as I walked into work, I found 3 fat envelopes with my name written all over them.
MIX CD'S!! These are amazing! Thank you lovely ladies so much. I was happily listening to new awesome tunes all day long. Highlights include "Tie Our Love In A Double Knot" and the song from The Jerk that Steve Martin and Bernedette Peters sing together. So happy! So many good jams. I am utterly floored.
I'm also still buzzing from the Giants game, and the nice weather, and the primaries. I voted for Perez Hilton who somehow ended up on my ballot. Just kidding, I voted for Rosie O'Donnell. Just kidding, I voted for Sweet Pea...to be voted off Project Runway. Just kidding, I voted for Santino.
I mean Rafael de Cardenas.

purps
After the Superbowl Shuffle, I went to dj the Purple party. Check out this month's issue if you can, for I have a poem featured. Speaking of poetry, here's Terry:
I thought Deee-Lite and Level 42 were gonna be big hits, but they cleared the floor. Rafael LOVED them, which is all I care about anyway. It was fun all over the place.
After I played Britney Spears, the party was over.
And when I stepped into the bright sunlight from the darkness of the movie house, I only had two things on my mind...
